早兩天法國安錫國際動畫影展公佈了今屆的官方評選名單，由香港動畫師 Tommy Ng 執導的動畫長片《世外》（Another World）入選了影展的「Midnight Specials」組別！！！
「Midnight Specials」（午夜特別場）組別雖然不在官方最終競賽名單，但是以其特別大膽、具諷刺或實驗性質的類別為名（也不建議 16 歲以下人士觀看）。今年入選的五部動畫，部部都勁到癲！除《世外》外，還有 STUDIO4°C 新作《All You Need Is Kill》、《劇場版物怪第二章：火鼠》、一人動畫坂本サク《Nightmare Bugs》，和巴西 Rogerio NUNES 的殘酷社會動畫《Heart of Darkness》！！

另外據影展官網資料顯示，《世外》動畫電影長達 110 分鐘！！
Tommy 在製作同名短片時已說過後續還有千年之久的故事，亦在訪問中說明電影版是砍掉重練，由頭開始製作。七年製作、兩小時的千年故事，令人期待最後的成品！
製作團隊將會在今年六月遠赴法國，親身出席安錫影展，見證《世外》首映一刻！！！

故事簡介：After death, before reincarnation, the souls of the deceased transit through a fantastical realm known as, Another World. Gudo is a spirit that helps to guide these transient souls to their reincarnation. While guiding a young girl named Yuri, he learns that humans have emotions that he does not understand. Tasked by Goddess Mira to help Yuri control her rage and prevent her transformation into a monster, Gudo embarks on a perilous mission.
