ガス山タンク、椹木伸一《筆、手銬和事實婚》18歲女高中生迫婚中年刑警的零色情懸疑喜劇作！
最初聽到 40 歲的刑警和 18 歲女高中生結婚，心想「這會不會又是一部賣弄情色的作品」而差點選擇無視，最後還好沒有～turn out 這是一部 40 歲警察被 18 歲女高中生威迫結婚（？！），同時聯手破案的輕鬆作品！而且畫也很漂亮呢！

故事描述一個視案件為老婆，超認真老實地保持單身 40 年的中年刑警——切鮫銳二，在一次調查中遇上了一個神秘的女高中生梔子鶇（粵音：之子東）。除了名字奇怪，她還從不開口說話，只會以 marker 在 sketchbook 上寫大字和畫超爛的畫來筆談溝通。
但這位沉默是金的女學生，竟然在案件膠著的時候，在筆記本上宣告找到犯人！而因為刑警切鮫的一個舉動，令梔子想起一些事情，繼而．向．他．求（迫）．婚！！（而且保持面無表情）
接下來就是這對新人，嗯，是瀕臨「社會性死亡」的中年刑警，和正值花樣年華的「無口系」女高中生，聯手破了一案又一案的精彩故事～～
案件中雖然也有死人，但也有像惡作劇一樣遊戲感較重的案件，整體而言不會太嚴肅恐怖，感覺是比較明亮加點輕鬆搞笑。第一期的後記中，原作椹木伸一提到他很喜歡懸疑故事，但也很容易把故事重心偏向懸疑方面，幸好有非常喜歡戀愛喜劇的責任編輯幫忙，讓重心在兩者之間平衡，才成就了這樣特別的一部作品。
另外要讚的是作畫的ガス山タンク，原本是動畫師也當過插畫家的他，本來就很擅長繪畫動態動作和空間感十足的畫面。到了漫畫，看封面就知道他在佈局用色到疏密配置都有用心做好，構圖簡單清晰卻又令人好奇難忘。內容方面，只要讀過就能感受到易理解又流暢。訪問中ガス山有解釋過，他很重視漫畫的節奏感，亦有用心設計過佈局和對話框，用以維持合適的翻頁速度⋯⋯如果不是他在後記寫「漫畫家真是辛苦！這次讓我親身經歷到了啊。」，應該不會知道這是他第一部商業連載的漫畫。
不過ガス山在畫這部作品時也有遇上困難——梔子的表情。第一期中，梔子的表情和周遭的角色比較可說是只有約 5% 的變化。ガス山亦說過原作椹木對梔子的表情和動作都非常講究，且有嚴格的限制如不能說話、不會笑也不會害羞，但又需要在有限的範圍內表達她的情緒變化，同時還要畫得可愛！所以常常需要修正。椹木則說這樣綁手綁腳的設定，讓他在第一次見到ガス山的時候，第一件事要做的就是為此致歉！（笑）
值得一提的是，雖然主角是女高中生，又有「和中年男人結婚」這些一聽就直覺認為是「男性向」作品的情節，但讀過以後，劇情設定到畫面上都沒有刻意賣弄色情的感覺。看訪問才知道這是原作椹木在設定上極力迴避情色感的結果，還為切鮫的表情設定了明確的界線，如「不會用色情的眼神看梔子」、「不會因為梔子的互動而臉紅」⋯⋯也特意調整了很多細節，讓大部分讀者也不會感到被冒犯。而椹木這樣做，是為了保持作品的用意——呈現一個「善良的世界」，而的確他們也收到眾多不分性別的讀者正面回饋。

Adapted from Naka Saijo’s Sennenki, the animated feature Another World is brought to life by director Tommy Ng Kai Chung, screenwriter and one of the producers Polly Yeung Po Man, and animation production company Point Five Creations. The film was selected for the “Midnight Specials” Section at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France and won the Best Animated Feature at the 62nd Golden Horse Awards. Released in Hong Kong theaters in late October 2025, it received widespread acclaim and surpassed HK$10,000,000 at the box office.
As the first official artbook of the film, Another World ARTBOOK features the visual creations and settings for various characters, environment design, world-building for both Another World and the human world, as well as their respective source of inspirations, design revisions involved and thoughtful details to appreciate. The design process of the Wrath and the Evil Seed, complemented with annotations, is not to be missed!
